Mr. and Mrs. Shawn Nagel

Yep, I'm still here!!!!! With all of the chaos of the wedding dwindling down in the last weeks to come of our big day I had no time to blog, not to mention the fact that I also stupidly decided to take classes, attempt to have a social life, and have a full time job. Wow, I'm an idiot. I praise you single moms because that shit is hard, multi tasking is not my strong suit. You could definitely say that I was a tad bit over my head and this resulted in me not having my shit together.

You guys I'm freaking married!! It's such a crazy, amazing feeling and not to mention now seeing my name changed has me even more realizing it's official.

In my eyes everything turned out perfect. Of coarse there were bumps in the road, one of my bridesmaid called me on Friday telling me she was sick and wasn't going to make it, our dj had lost most of our paperwork for what events were supposed to happen throughout the night, our photographer accidentally dropped her camera and broke it but all of these things didn't matter because I was marrying my best friend. Guy's I'm going to say it again and again, life is to short to let these things affect a person. Everything still worked out exactly the way it was supposed to. I had another amazing girlfriend of mine fill in for my sick bridesmaid, our dj was off the chain amazing and kept the crowd going all night, and our photographer took (in my opinion) the best pictures I think I've ever seen. It's all about perspective. Shawn and I at the end of the night looked at each other and just couldn't believe all of the people we love and care about came together and celebrated the enduring, endless amount of love Shawn and I have for each other. We couldn't have asked for a better day. These unfortunate events are going to happen and they are also going to happen throughout life as well. I am so fortunate to have a patient man in my life.

Again I want to thank all of our wedding party, Shawn and I's parents, our dj (Project 3D), photographer (Taylor Wismer), The Fennels for letting us use their backyard to get married in, the food the was cooked for our wedding, my Grandma Judi for making the salads, my Aunt Michelle for making the cake, my cousins Kortany and Brittany and other personal attendant Mikayla because we wouldn't have made it on time to anything without you, the list goes on and on. Just know that if you had any part or contribution to our wedding we are forever grateful for your kindness and love in giving Shawn and I the best day of our life.

And for the future brides, something that I was reminded many times and the only advice that I would give would be to just take a moment to look around and live in the moment because the day goes by so fast, soak as much up as you possibly can.

xoxo,
Cierra Nagel :)

I have already posted most of these pictures on Facebook but here is a glimpse of our special day.
Also I could not stop crying all day so I also apologize for all of the cry baby pictures! Enjoy! :)
