The Union of Two People

If some of you follow my blog then you know Shawn and I have had such a hard time planning or accomplishing anything for that matter that deals with planning a wedding. Well this last weekend Shawn and I went back to our hometown to spend some time with my dad and stepmom since their accident. They are doing a lot better by the way if any of you were wondering. Still really banged up and need a lot of help but better than where they were. Also it's my dad's birthday so everyone go wish him a happy, happy birthday! Anyway since Shawn and I went home our families got together and started to finally make some wedding plans happen.

Shawn and I finally picked a wedding date, a venue and a ceremony spot! If any of you guys know our love story Shawn and I met in eighth grade at a high school football game in kimball, at the time Shawn and I met I lived in Mitchell up until my junior year of high school when my family moved to kimball and Shawn and I started dating again in high school and then again in college. It's honestly crazy to think about how far we've come. Also if you haven't noticed I'm a crier and currently I'm getting overly emotional as I'm writing this blog but we decided to have our wedding back in Kimball where it first all started. We are keeping our budget really low to be able to remember it's the union of two people becoming one. I can't wait to share more details of our journey of planning our wedding.

We are so overly excited to announce our big day will be May 19th, 2018. Hope to see you all along the ride of ups and downs of planning this amazing day filled with love, laughter, and joy! I want to thank Shawn's parents and my parents for everything you guys do for us and for helping us make decisions about our big day. We couldn't do it without you guys.
